This is a bulk waste event - think old furniture, mattresses, lawn furniture, stuff like that.

We cannot accept:
No recyclable materials (except metal). Metal that is separated from other materials will be accepted for recycling.
No debris from construction, demolition or remodeling, nor yard debris, kitchen garbage, or commercial waste. No hazardous waste, including paint, chemicals, herbicides, pesticides, aerosol sprays, etc.

Your volunteers reserve the right to refuse materials that appear unsafe, unsanitary, or hazardous.
If you have any questions what's a hazardous waste, call Metro on Friday, before you load up and come to us: 503-234-3000. It's what we'll do if we have any questions.
IT'S BETTER TO CALL METRO FIRST THAN TO HAVE A LOADED TRUCK TURNED AWAY.
The transfers station itself is open on Saturday but they don't answer their phones.
Please come prepared to unload your materials, with gloves if you'll need them.
